Hi guys! I guess you could say this time we are learning about a LITTLE MIX of motion and direction! So, WHY DON'T WE GO THERE? This is gonna be awesome.
So, this blog post is all about acceleration! This SUMMER IS SET TO GO BY IN 5 SECONDS with what I'm about to teach you! Wow, that was bad. That was two in one by the way. Anywho, acceleration is the change in velocity divided by the time it takes for the change to occur.
Since I know how much you guys have been missing my Teen Wolf references, here we go with one. That is a picture of Stiles/Dylan O'Brien's car. Now much like velocity, acceleration has direction. To speed up, Stiles car has to be going ONE DIRECTION velocity and acceleration wise. Bwahahaha =)
Now how's about we use a different car for the next example, yeah?
This is Derek/Tyler Hoechlin's car. Well his second one... the first one Allison kinda destroyed. Season 2 Episode 7 in case you wanna find it. So to slow down Derek's car he would have to make the acceleration and velocity go in two different suggestions. Believe it or not you can slow down or speed up on EVERY AVENUE! HAHAHA! Speeding is not okay, even to make some MIDNIGHT MEMORIES. I'm having fun with this in case you couldn't tell. But seriously don't use this to become a RUNAWAY BABY!

There you go you little poofs! Ok now YOU & I can graph acceleration. Now knowing you people are probably like me, you most likely won't to do any actual math. Luckily, I think I can just show you this and you'll get the jist of it, yeah?
See, not that hard. Positive looks happy, like Louis Tomlinson pulling a prank on the entire One Direction staff including the boys. So that post went by in 5 Seconds (of Summer)! Now that you've learned all the LITTLE THINGS about acceleration here's a tad bit of extra stuff. The acceleration of a free-falling object is constant! So if I push you out of a plane, you'll have a constant acceleration and you'll pass out from pure shock, but not before you curse me out for stealing the only parachute and pushing you out there without one. =) I'm fabulous.
